Refund Policy
Last updated: September 1, 2026
This policy explains the difference between Reservation Trips service fees and refunds issued by airlines, hotels, or rental providers, and how each is handled.
1. Two types of refunds
It's important to distinguish between two separate amounts:
- Provider refunds — the fare, room rate, or rental cost paid for your reservation, refunded by the airline, hotel, or rental company according to its own rate rules and policies.
- Reservation Trips service fees — the fee charged for our specialists' time in booking, changing, or resolving your case, which is separate from the provider's fare or rate.
2. Provider refunds
Refund eligibility depends on the fare or rate type purchased, the reason for the refund request, and the specific provider's policy. Where a refund is approved, funds are returned by the airline, hotel, or rental company to your original payment method, typically within 7–20 business days. Reservation Trips does not control this timeline and cannot expedite it beyond what the provider allows, but we will follow up on your behalf if a refund is delayed.
3. Service fee refunds
Our service fees are refundable in the following situations:
- You cancel a request before a specialist has begun working your case.
- We are unable to complete the service you paid for due to an error on our part.
Service fees are generally non-refundable once a specialist has completed the requested work (for example, a completed booking, submitted change request, or filed refund claim), even if the provider's final decision is not what you hoped for.
4. How to request a refund
Email support@reservationtrips.com with your case reference number and the reason for your request. We aim to respond to all refund requests within 2 business days.
5. Changes to this policy
We may revise this Refund Policy from time to time. The current version, identified by the “Last updated” date above, always applies.
